• Files you transfer — stored temporarily in encrypted cloud storage and deleted after the transfer expires.
• Account information — name and email address when you register.
• Usage data — pages visited, transfer sizes, browser type, and IP address for analytics and security.
• Cookies — session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies (Google Analytics).

3. How we use your information

• To deliver and improve the QikDrive service.
• To send transactional emails (transfer notifications, account alerts).

4. File storage and retention

Uploaded files are stored in encrypted object storage hosted in India. Files are automatically deleted when a transfer expires (based on the expiry date you set). We do not access, read, or share your file contents.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate QikDrive (cloud storage, email delivery, analytics) and only to the extent required for those services.

6. Security

All transfers are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Transfers can be password-protected and set to expire automatically. We apply industry-standard security practices throughout our infrastructure.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@qikdrive.com. Registered users can delete their account and associated data from the account settings page.

8. Cookies

We use essential session cookies for authentication and Google Analytics cookies to understand usage. You can disable analytics cookies through your browser settings. Essential cookies are required for the service to function.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of QikDrive after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
